Eligibility
- Application for donation is by invitation only. Kai Yue Foundation does not accept non-solicited applications. Typical donation amounts are from $500 to $20,000.
- Applicant have a current and active registered charitable number (Canada) or 501(c) 3 status (US).
- Funds must be utilized in the states where organizations provide services.
- Organization must be applying for programs and services that fall in line with one of Kai Yue Foundation’s areas of focus.
- Organizations must have strong fiscal management based on information gathered from the most recent copy of their financial statements.
- Organizations must have an operating Board of Directors and be able to illustrate the strength of their governance practices.
- Organizations must provide an annual progress report and feedback on how funds are used and the effectiveness of the program.
- Presentations and site visits may be required.
